Nissan has announced that it is to take a 34 percent stake in rival carmaker Mitsubishi Motors. That will make Nissan the LARGEST shareholder in Mitsubishi. The news comes at a time when Mitsubishi is mired in scandal over its rigging of fuel efficiciency tests.
