Hot on the royal heels of Swedish Crown Princess Victoria's victory over German scandal sheets Woche der Frau and Die Neue Frau, Norway’s monarchy has begun considering its own legal action against the magazines which they claim have been printing "fantasy" revelations about Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit. The latest speculation offered on the Norwegian royals includes claims that Crown Prince Haakon is not the father of the child the princess is expecting. The German magazines have also manipulated photos of the princess in recent months including the recent example a front page picture of Mette-Marit with "her baby," which is not due until January. The Swedes successfully battled for retractions from the publications over recent rumors they circulated about Victoria’s love life, "pregnancy" and "illnesses."
