IN the US - Barack Obama says he's now within reach of winning the Democratic Party's nomination to run in November's presidential election. Obama's set to take a majority of "pledged" delegates although he's still short of a confirmed overall victory. He won Tuesday's Oregon primary - but rival Hillary Clinton took the vote in Kentucky by a large margin and has vowed to fight on. Following the balloting - Obama addressed supporters in Iowa.
