Hermann Bühlbecker has been in the cookie and chocolate business for over 30 years. More than 300 years old, his company Lambertz is unique in Germany.

Born in 1950 in Aachen, the son of an architect, Hermann Bühlbecker paid for his economics studies by working as a tennis pro. He still supports the sports world to this day, sponsoring the world's top show jumping event, the CHIO in Aachen. He also backs the German Sports Foundation and Aachen Football Club. Tennis remains his favorite sport and he even has his own in-house team, Lambertz Aachen, who were German champions in 2008. Bühlbecker is also a committeee member for the US AIDS foundation AmFar and has also supported Bill Clinton's Global Initiative program since 2006. The 60-year-old is renowned for his PR skills, and his annual "Lambertz-Monday-Night" party is a highlight of Germany's social calendar.
