Belgium is in political crisis this Tuesday after Prime Minister Yves Leterme tendered his resignation. He only took office in March, after nine months of deadlock between parties representing the Flemish majority and the Walloon minority. Le Terme's party and its nationalist allies had been pushing for more power for Dutch speaking Flanders. The country's linguistic divide has prompted concern that it could split apart. ++++SYN++++
