Peugeot stellt mit dem 508 eine neue Mittelklasse-Limousine vor. Die Limousine und das entsprechende Kombi-Modell lösen die Baureihen 407 und 607 ab. Vier Diesel- und zwei Benzinmotoren mit bis zu 150kW stehen zur Wahl. Der verbrauchsgünstigste Motor ist der 1,6 Liter e-HDI FAP mit elektronisch gesteuertem Sechsgang-Schaltgetriebe.

The sedan and corresponding wagon model replace the 407 and 607 series. Four diesel and two gasoline engines are available with outputs of up to 150kW. The most efficient option is the 1.6 liter e-HDI FAP with an electronically controlled 6-speed manual transmission.
