Germany and Mongolia agreed on a comprehensive military partnership as well as to collaborate on UN peacekeeping missions on Friday. The agreements were made as German President Horst Koehler visited the Mongolian capital Ulan Bator to discuss bilateral relations. His Mongolian counterpart Nambaryn Enkhbayar spoke of a “new level” of relations, saying that Germany was one of his country’s most important European partners.
