The Baltic Sea island of Rügen is home to The Colossus of Prora, built by the Nazis as a holiday resort for the masses. Over the decades, the huge building complex fell into disrepair. Now part of the historically-protected site, located in a local beauty spot, is being converted into luxury holiday flats.
