Race to Save Cyclone Victims

12/05/08May 12, 2008

Aid workers in Myanmar racing against time to rescue victims of the devastating cyclone Nargis, which struck the country 10 days ago. The state media reported on Monday that the official death toll had climbed up to over 32,000. Although international aid has been allowed to enter the country, the UN says relief operations are still too slow and says the death toll will rise if they are not accelerated.
