The future of the International Space Station ISS after 2020 is uncertain. Will we then see a renewed space race?

The US is planning a new mission to the moon and beyond. The Europeans want to develop their transport vessel for the space station into a manned capsule. And while the Russians are the only ones still able to take astronauts to the ISS, the Chinese are planning expeditions to Mars and the Moon; last year they launched a space laboratory module.
