Researchers estimate trillions in climate change costs

The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research estimates that global GDP could drop by 7 percent if the world fails to tackle climate change. Combating the results could cost the global community an estimated 4 trillion euros. And climate researchers warn that energy prices could skyrocket by up to 80 percent.
