They film everything that moves on Russia's roads: car accidents, meteor strikes and traffic jams. Dash cams have taken off in Russia.

More and more drivers have dashboard mounted cameras in their vehicles, though that has little to do with pure voyeurism. Whether staged car accidents or cases of attempts at police bribery, when there's doubt, the pictures from dash cams are considered in court to constitute evidence.
