French President Nicolas Sarkozy has reaffirmed his country's military commitment to Afghanistan after a meeting with his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai. His visit followed the killing of 10 French soldiers in the east of the capital Kabul in an attack claimed by the Taliban, which also wounded 21 soldiers.
