Top Formula 1 drivers Michael Schumacher and Juan-Pablo Montoya are in a war of words after a crash at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday sent Schumacher out of the race. Montoya accelerated into Schumacher as the German Ferrari driver was leading the pack behind the safety car. The crash cost Schumacher a chance at going for a record sixth straight consecutive race win. Montoya "behaved stupidly," said Schumacher, who is leading in the overall standings. Montoya, for his part, said the crash was nothing more than bad luck: "I accelerated, just as he braked." FIA, the governing racing association, agreed with Montoya's assessment, rating the crash in the tunnel as "normal."
