There has been a large explosion in the Lebanesse capital Beirut, with dozens of people injured. The car bomb targetted the southern suburbs which are a stronghold of the militant Hezbollah movement. It is the worst explosion in the city in years. Observers say the attack was possiby linked to violence in neighbouring Syria.
