Soundtrack to the crisis

Germán García Lillo, a 21-year-old law student from Valencia, composed the song "El mundo se mueve" (The World Is Moving). "The world is moving and it will continue to do so. That's why we should, as part of this world, also be moving and fighting for what we believe in," he says.

With his song, Lillo supports the protest movement Movimiento 15-M, which opposes the government's austerity plan and has taken its dissent to the streets.

Together with two friends, Germán García Lillo recorded his song and made it available for download on Movimiento 15-M's website.

Lillo doesn't only aim to sing about dissatisfaction, but also "about the hope of creating a fairer system, that is democratic and shows solidarity."
