Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luiz Rodriguez Zapatero says he will devote his second term in office to improving the economy, creating more jobs and introducting better social policies. The Prime Minister was speaking after preliminary results showed his Socialist Party had won Sunday's parliamentary elections. Though still short of an absolute majority, the Socialist party gained seats in parliament and should have no difficulty forming a coalition government. Voter turnout was just over 75 percent.
