Indian commandos have been fighting room-to-room battles with Islamist gunmen inside two luxury hotels in a a push to save scores of people trapped or taken hostage. The battles continue almost 24 hours after the initial attacks on multiple targets began - including one of the cities busiest commter train terminals, and the Taj Mahal and Trident-Oberoi hotels. At least 101 people, including six foreigners have been killed. Some 300 have been wounded in the attacks. Other sites that came under assault included a restaurant popular with American and British tourists, and the Jewish Chabad House - frequented mainly by Israelis.
