The Chemicals Industry in North Rhine-Westphalia: Networking as an impetus for innovation

North Rhine-Westphalia is the most important hub of the chemicals industry in Germany. Its mixture of major globally operating corporations and a large number of middle-sized businesses and research institutes is key to the region's innovative strength. Together with other businesses here, French specialty gas supplier Air Liquide is trying to establish hydrogen as the fuel of the future.
