Famed German food critic Wolfram Siebeck has dished out hefty criticism about the quality of the vittles being served to German parliamentarians in the Bundestag cafeteria. In the January edition of the magazine Cicero, Siebeck spoke of a culinary "downfall." After sampling a test meal, the gastronomic expert said the appearance of the rabbit meat he'd been served reminded him of the alpine Ice Age mummy "Ötzi," and added that it was "leathery and inedible." The desserts, he said, were loaded with additives. The food is cause for concern about the health of Germany's elected representatives, Siebeck concluded.
