With the conservatives and Social Democrats both polling at just under 30 percent, there may be little alternative to a continuation of the two-party coalition. +++LM-rein+++ The Social Democrats draw most support from urban areas, especially the Vienna metropolitan region which is home to 3.7 million people. The conservatives draw most of their votes from rural areas. ++LM-raus+++ While the current coalition partners are fighting to retain their support, the smaller parties are trying to exploit voter dissatisfaction.
