TT: Kosovos move to independence could have huge ramifications for the region, and for the rest of the world - je 18.02.2008

Torsten JostFebruary 18, 2008

The dispute over the status of Kosovo has been a central issue in international politics for years now. Its move to independence could have huge ramifications for the region, and for the rest of the world. The Balkans are the most unstable part of post-war Europe - and the scene of the only wars on the continent since 1945. Many analysts fear new conflicts as a result of the change in Kosovo's status.
