This week’s eco@africa takes you from the mountains of Ethiopia to the meadows of Germany!

We meet some rare wildlife in Ethiopia’s Simien Mountains National Park, which attracts tourists from all over the world. Now locals are finding new ways to protect the animals and their incomes.

Next, we’re in southern Germany, where entrepreneurs are turning lush green grass into eco-friendly paper.

And there’s another green business project in Nigeria: we meet a group of women combining a passion for fashion with doing their bit for the environment.

Then we’re off to Lake Malawi to find out why fish stocks are dwindling in one of the world’s most biodiverse lakes.

Back in Europe, we visit scientists in the UK who are developing a substitute for palm oil – in the laboratory.

Finally, we take you to Zanzibar, where seaweed farmers are coping with the impact of climate change on their crop.

Check out the show and let us know what you think at ecoafrica@dw.com.
