Welcome to this week's eco@africa

This week on eco@africa we once again travel to new destinations throughout Africa and Europe looking for green success stories.

First, we find out about a conservation group working on the shores of Lake Victoria that is retraining fishermen to become bird guides in an uphill effort to protect Uganda's wetlands which harbor about 50 percent of all African birds.

Then we head to Denmark, where an environmentally friendly company lets parents rent baby clothes rather than buy them. A bag filled with fresh clothes is delivered at least every three months and helps cut down on waste - and cost.

After that we visit a virtual gardening project in Germany before flying down to Mozambique to see how female rangers are being given a chance to help in the fight to save their country's fauna in Gorongosa National Park.

Finally, we have a look at a company in Kenya that is trying to give people better access to electricity through its cheap, easy-to-use biogas system that harvests the power of organic waste and dung.
