Paying bills and transfering money by mobile phone is a trend that's only just starting in most countries. But in Kenya, it's old news - 10 years ago, the M-Pesa system was started there. 'Pesa' means money in Swahili. Today, most Kenyans subscribe to some kind of mobile money transfer system, and they use it for anything from paying taxi fares to sending money to relatives.
