World in Progress: Midwife in Kibera

Aisha Juma has helped more than 100 babies come into the world as a midwife in the Kibera slum in Kenya. Aisha has learned her skills from her mother and grandmother. And she knows a lot - the women in Kibera trust her more than the doctors in the badly equipped hospitals. Her hands are special, they say - she can even tell whether the pregnant women will have a baby boy or girl.
