Vietnam's demining challenge

More than 40 years since the end of the Vietnam conflict, many mines and cluster bombs remain buried in the terrain where war was waged between the Vietcong and US forces. Today, relations between Hanoi and Washington have never been better, but the deadly legacy of hidden munitions remains. A US program, Project Renew, is making progress on the demining challenge.
