Dmitry Yagodin is a Ph.D. candidate and researcher at the University of Tampere, Finland. He is also a member of the Finnish Graduate School for Russian and East European studies at the Aleksanteri Institute of the University of Helsinki, Finland. His research interests include online forms of journalism and participatory communication. His current research focuses on blogging as as a form of journalism by citizens in Russia. Previously, he studied journalism and worked as a reporter in St Petersburg, Russia.
