Every year in August the best up-and-coming talents in the classical music world converge on Berlin for the Young Euro Classic Festival. The Siam Sinfonietta from Thailand is participating for the first time. Their conductor is Thai-American all-round talent Somtow Sucharitkul. In addition to a work by Gustav Mahler, they play a composition by the king of Thailand, Bhumipol Adulyadej.
