Zimbabwe: President Robert Mugabe under pressure - Journal (english) 18.04.2008

Zimbabwe is marking its independence day today, with President Robert Mugabe due to make his first major speech since the disputed elections three weeks ago. International pressure on the veteran leader is stepping up -- on Thursday, the United Nations, the G8 group, the European Union, the US and South Africa all called for the results of the election to be published. Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai insists HE won the ballot.
