§ Building up relations with both Chinese and foreign organizations, institutions, consultancies, and companies in the field of climate change and in particular Clean Development Mechanism
§ Regular reporting to the Technical Advisor, in order to ensure that he is informed about the latest developments in the field of CDM in China and the Asian Region
§ To advise German institutions and companies about relevant legislative and market development concerning CDM in China
§ To advise German institutions and companies about relevant CDM workshops, forums, conferences, exhibitions, etc.
§ Compilation, processing and disseminating information covering climate change and CDM in China
§ Translation of relevant documents from/to English, Chinese
§ Coordinate relevant project activities to be possibly undertaken in the Provinces (Gansu, Qinghai, Yunnan) with the program office in Beijing and the respective executing organizations
§ Plan the employment of consultants, draft their terms of reference
§ Design and support project related studies and analyses
§ Collection of data on the energy supply and demand potential for CDM in China
§ Other tasks as assigned by Technical Advisor

§ Sound knowledge about Climate Change and Clean Mechanism Development in particular, regarding the latter especially historical development, its methodologies, market mechanism,
§ Technical background related to energy efficiency and renewable energy preferred

§ To work independently and target oriented
§ Ability to work under deadline pressure
