德国铁路公司获沙特大订单

Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Prince Mansour Bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz is seen onboard the new fast commuter train Mashair (Mecca Metro) on its first run test in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, 05 October 2010. The Mashair fast commuter train which has started a 30-day test run period, is capable of reaching speeds up to 300 km per hour. It runs from Mecca to Medina through Jeddah's King Abdul Aziz International airport and connects the Haj holy sites making it easier for the some three million Muslim Haj pilgrims to reach all the sites instead of using buses and private vehicles. It will be inaugurated by Saudi King Abdallah bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud in mid October and will start carrying passengers for the next Haj 2010 season.
