À la carte: Yorkshire Pudding

September 10, 2013

A traditional British roast dinner usually consists of meat, vegetables and roast potatoes. If you are having beef it is also custom to serve a yorkshire pudding. This isn't something sweet - it's more of a savory treat of puffed batter, best served crispy and coated in gravy. We're at the Rudding Park Hotel where one of the hotel's chefs - Matthew Wilkinson - prepares for us the meal.
