Iran has started to fuel its first nuclear power plant amidst international concerns over the country's atomic ambitions. Moscow is providing the fuel for the Bushehr plant and has pledged to take away the spent uranium rods, which could be used to make nuclear weapons. The united States and Europe have now stepped up the pressure on Iran to stop its OWN uranium enrichment since it is able to obtain nuclear fuel from abroad.
