24-hour Kindergarten: the future of childcare?

As jobs become more mobile and flexible, employees are increasingly being asked to work nights and weekends. But they are often forced to face a difficult question: what about childcare? In the German city of Schwerin, a daycare center called "nidulus" offers childcare 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It caters to parents who are doctors, nurses, security workers, chefs - anyone who works odd hours and needs reliable childcare.
