An Air France plane carrying over 200 people from Brazil to France has gone missing over the Atlantic Ocean

Air France officials say a passenger jet that went missing from radar screens this morning may have been struck by lightning while flying through a storm over the Atlantic ocean. The plane was on its way from Brazil to Paris with 228 people on board when it lost contact with Air Traffic Control.
