Augsburg relish first win

Augsburg started the match rooted to the bottom spot with just two points, not having managed a win in their first six Bundesliga games this season.
The side got off to a great start after just two minutes when Tobias Werner got free of his marker to score with a diving header at the end of a cross from Paul Verhaegh.
Bremen had more of the possession and managed to go level in the 19th minute through a free kick from Belgian Kevin de Bruyne that beat the defense to bounce into the goal.
However, Augsburg were back in front 13 minutes later. Stephan Hain, after a one-two with Zimbabwean striker Knowledge Musona, fired past Bremen keeper Sebastian Mielitz from close range.
With Augsburg taking more control in the second half, Daniel Baier added the third goal with a low 25-meter free kick to seal the result.
"Everyone is delighted that we have finally managed to take three points," said Augsburg coach Manfred Paula. "It was also clearly deserved."
Augsburg now have five points out of seven games and rise to 15th place in the table, although they could find themselves back at the bottom with the teams below them still to play this weekend. Bremen drop from seventh place to eleventh.
In Saturday's football action, leaders Bayern Munich play host to Hoffenheim with champions Dortmund, in third place, having to wait until Sunday for their away match at Hannover.
Sunday's fixtures also see second-place Eintracht Frankfurt, the surprise side of the season so far, visit Borussia Mönchengladbach.
