A new international fashion salon is to be held in Berlin next month to meet growing demand from eastern Europe, organizers said. B-in-Berlin will be held from July 22 to 24 in the German capital and will focus on men's ready-to-wear with up to 300 exhibitors especially from German labels which already have a strong presence on the eastern Europe market. "The growth markets today are in eastern Europe and Russia, and Berlin thanks to its geographical position finds itself at the center of the fashion industry," the fair's organizer Gerald Beck said, during a European tour to promote the event. "The fashion sector in Berlin is undergoing a rebirth. And we will be able to benefit from all the advantages that the city offers to make a European fashion metropolis," he added. The following salon planned in January will devote a large place to women's ready-to-wear.
