Wolfsburg 0 Bayern 3
It took Bayern about 20 minutes to get a grip on the match. Wolfsburg were disorganised and hesitant after their heavy defeat at Bochum two weeks ago and the Bavarians realized this from early on. Bastian Schweinsteiger put Bayern
ahead after a cross by Torsten Frings and then a bizarre goal made it two nil after the ball came back off goalie Simon Jensch to ricochet off defender Kevin Hoflands legs. Shortly after half time it was Schweinsteiger this time to supply the cross for Torsten Frings to make it 3-0. An easy win for Bayern ahead of their tough Champions League tie at Chelsea next week
Schalke 4 Nürnberg 1
Schalke who had lost to Mainz two weeks ago were eager to make up for their slip in front of 60 000 home fans. Maik Hanke came on as an early substitue for Ebbe Sand who went off with a broken nose and it turned out to be a significant substitution for Schalke as it was Hanke who scored two early goals to settle the home side's nerves.
Brazilian Ailton then made it 3 but a slip by Schalke goalie Frank Rost allowed Nürnberg to pull one back through Samuel Slovak. But Asamoah and Lincoln then combined well for the Brazilian to wrap things up with Schlake's 4th.
Kaiserslautern 0 Hanover 2
Hanover left it late but Czech striker Jiri Kaufmanns two goals give Ewald Lienen's side valuable three points in their battle against relegation.
Bielefeld 1 Leverkusen 0
Bielefeld continue to perform well against the Bundesligas top sides and Serb striker Radomir Djalovic who is on loan from Zagreb scored the winner after poor defending by Leverkusen
Freiburg 1 Hamburg 1
Freiburg may be going down but to their credit put up a good performance against Hamburg. Denis Kruppke scored for Freiburg Potuguese midfielder Moreira equalised and Hamburg who still want a Champions League spot will be

Bremen 1 Stuttgart 2
Both sides still have not given up chasing Bayern and Schalke Silvio Meissner put Stuttgart ahead in the 48th minute but Bremen equalised through Ivan Klasnic four minutes later. A frantic scramble followed in the closing stages with Bremen's French defender Valerien Ismael sent off for two bookable offences and Stuttgart struck the killer blow three minutes later through Christian Tiffert.
Rostock 2 Mainz 0
Hansa Rostock are putting up a great fight against relegation. eastern Germany's only Bundesliga club are still five points away from safety but they still will be delighted with their victory after goals by Swede Thomas Rasmussen
