The president of the German parliament has appealed for greater vigilance in the fight against antisemitism and racism. Norbert Lammert was speaking at a ceremony in the German Bundestag commemmorating the victims of the Holocaust. Sunday marks the 62nd anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp and is observed around the world as Holocaust Remembrance Day. The Bundestag is marking the occasion with a special exhibition on the Theresianstadt concentration camp.
