Tutorials are booming on YouTube. Among the most popular clips in the genre are cooking and baking guides. Some food bloggers have even been able to turn their passion into a profession.

Saliha Özcan is one of the most successful food bloggers in Germany. Her YouTube channel "Sallys Welt" featuring conventional-style baking instructions generates up to 8 million views per month. She is now able to make a living from advertising revenue and her own online store. Other YouTubers like Nicole Weber-Joerss have specialized in complicated cakes. Her channel has almost 30,000 subscribers.
