California dreamin' for a Slovakian designer

And finally today, let's talk startups.

For almost two years, we've brought you news of tech startups from around Europe. From Berlin to Prishtina, the continent is an active place where tech companies are trying to find their footing.

But at the end of the day, nearly all of these companies look to Silicon Valley for inspiration. After all, that's where some of the biggest names in the tech community come from. Google, Apple, Facebook and Twitter were all founded in the San Francisco Bay Area.

So perhaps it doesn't come as any surprise that a young 19-year-old Slovakian web designer took a few days out of his finals period in January to create takemetosiliconvalley.com. As the domain name suggests, he pitched himself online to various tech companies.
