The carnival in Nice is one of the biggest in the world and attracts approximately 1 million visitors each year. It features glamorous shows with colorful parades and international dance groups. There is also an annual competition to be the Carnival Queen - and the winner gets to ride on a float at one of the biggest events - the Battle of the Flowers.
