city Aachen: Wir stellen Aachen mit seiner Altstadt, dem Dom und seinem berühmten Gebäck, den Printen vor - eme 19.11.2007

Admin englischNovember 20, 2007

As the UNESCO world heritage convention takes place in Weimar from Nov 19-20, we take a look at Aachen, a city located on the tip of the German- Dutch – Belgian triangle, that was added to UNESCO’s world heritage list in 1978. We present the city’s highlights, such as its trademark cathedral and famous Printen cookies which we enjoyed at the Nobis bakery. We also visit Aachen’s city hall, university campus and checked out some of the many horse sculptors dispersed throughout the town, since Aachen is also known for its equestrian competitions and activities.
