Climate change behind surge in lumber prices

Lumber prices have been going through the roof amid a construction boom in the US. Timber suppliers in the US and Canada are unable to keep up with the soaring demand. Marcel Fratzscher, president of the German think tank DIW, says climate change is partly responsible for the shortage.
