Company boycot on cotton aims to stop child labor in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is one of the world's largest cotton producers. It produces big amounts with the help of children, some as young as eight. Uzbekistan has signed a convention to not employ children in the cotton fields. But the practice continues. Now, 60 international companies have signed a boycot on cotton from Uzbekistan - among them big clothes traders like Adidas and Puma.
