The southern German firm Düsentrieb specializes in designer footballs which stand out thanks to their unconventional fabrics and colorful patterns. Owner Christoph Haug came up with the idea as a different kind of fan souvenir instead of the usual memorabilia. The designer footballs proved especially popular in the run-up to Germany's hosting of the 2011 Women's World Cup.
