Mukelani Dimba is the Executive Director of the Open Democracy Advice Center (ODAC), a South African law center that specializes in freedom of information and whistleblower protection laws.
Dimba has work experience in accountability and transparency issues in South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Egypt. His work includes advising civil society groups on campaigning for, and application of, right-to-information laws, advising foreign legislators on drafting these laws, advising governments on implementation strategies and conducting research on behalf of development agencies.
