Bayern Munich women's team have successfully defended their Bundesliga crown after crushing Bayer Leverkusen 5-0 on Sunday.

A hat-trick from Vivianne Miedema, as well as goals from Mana Iwabuchi and Sara Dbritz pushed Bayern to the convincing win, which handed Bayern the title with two league matches still to play. The club's third Bundesliga title ever also means that Bayern will be playing in the Champions League next season.

Bayern have only lost one game all season, with FFC Frankfurt defeating the German champions last month. Frankfurt and Wolfsburg will now battle for second and third place, with the two sides separated by four points with three matches left to play for each team.
