Duhnen Tideland Races on Germany's North Sea coast - euromaxx, 14.07.2008

Michael BärJuly 15, 2008

It's been described as one of the strangest equestrian events on the planet - and every year it draws crowds in the tens of thousands: the Duhnen Tideland Races on Germany's North Sea coast near the resort of Cuxhaven. Some 150 horses and riders took part in this test of stamina and nerves on the weekend and spectators could cheer them on or bet or both - things always go best when Neptune plays along but no matter what he has in store the races begin at 13:00 hours sharp!
